Waist Beads

It started with a single strand, made for myself.

I started oréva because I was the customer. My waist beads broke, and the makers I trusted were all far from Lagos: North, East, Ibadan. I wanted someone close. So I made one for myself, then realized I could make them for other women too. Every waist bead since is strung the same way: by hand, sized to you, one strand at a time.
